PAST PERFECT TENSE:

In ‘basic English grammar, past perfect tense is a tense that is used to show the information of the time or action finished in recent history. It is used to describe events or states in which, we show express by referring the time that events or states had happened earlier. Past perfect tense easy example sentences:

In ‘English lessons for beginners, are made very simple way to them understanding. The given below examples describe that how the verbs are used in the past perfect tense.

I had played football.
I had written a letter.  
He had written a letter.  
She had written a letter. 

Past perfect tense clarification:

past perfect tense shows the action completed in sometime before or earlier. Read carefully given above sentences “I had played football. & I had written a letter.” by reading these sentences, we know that “I” (plural noun) “He” & “She” (singular noun) are subjects, and “had” is a helping verb, “played & written” are third forms of the main verbs and “football and letter” are objects. 

The main verbs “write and play” has been changed into third forms of the verbs “played & written” to use in past perfect tense. By doing practice exercises constantly you will understand more, step by step.
