Present Continuous Tense

Present Continuous Tense is a tense in which we use to make sentences to show that ‘act is happening’ it tense present that work is happening just now it doesn’t count time from when it is happening. This tense shows the act is now ongoing. Activity is now running.

Examples
 
·         I am playing badminton.
·         I am playing football.
·         I am playing carrom board.
·         I am playing Basketball.
 
Present Continuous Tense shows the time when act is happening. Read given above sentences and see act is ongoing. It is not showing that when is started act and when will be completed, but it is focused that act is ongoing. 

So, given above sentences show that when we describe any sentences in Present Continuous Tense then we use ‘ing’ form of the verb according to the its tense agreement. Because of act is going on, so we use ing form of the verb with helping verb. “I am playing game” ‘I’ is a subject that is a plural noun so for which ‘am’ helping verb is used.
